Well, we made it back alive from yet another fantastic youth trip to Northern Michigan. Anytime one gets out of the city and into the country one can fully appreciate God's handiwork. Northern Michigan is one of the most beautiful places on the earth. I believe we could spend weeks at a time exploring and still be awed by God's creation in what we trolls call, Up North (by trolls I mean, what people who live in the Upper Peninsula call us folks south of the bridge).
Anyway, our trip was great on all levels. First time in almost ten years of youth ministry we managed to have a weekend without huge drama. All the students seemed to really join together in love and harmony. Fun was had by all and Christ glorified. I'll be posting pics of the retreat soon...whenever I figure out how??!!?!??!!
Now begins the leg work for our summer mission trip to Denver Colorado. Helping to start churches is our plan. Basically we are going to kick some serious butt while sharing the love of Christ.
